Kira Kids Spring-Summer 2015 sneak peek!

Image
I have been in love with Kira Kids after seeing their cool AW14 collection last season ( Check it out here ). I purchased some sweatshirts for O. from their webshop and was just amazed with the super soft and light terry fabric apart from the quirky and really awesome design. It really is the kind you just want to live in day and night! Even her dad was a bit jealous wanting one for him also ;) Anyways, it got me intrigued and so I got to ask the designer, Cristine Tang , a couple of questions regarding their new, upcoming collection which you can see below. What were some of your inspirations behind the new collection? How much does SS15 differ from SS14?   My new Spring/Summer 2015 collection "Let's Get Lost Together" , is inspired by daydreams of Hawaii trips and my obsession with food especially tropical fruits and burgers. I have also added many new styles to this collection including summer dresses, baby bloomers, tank top onesies and amazingly soft french terry s

New pre-spring items 2015 by Little Cocoa Bean

I have had little time for the blog lately with the new collections arriving to the store and my daughter sick all last week. I have the great privilege to be a work-at-home-mom, but this is also my disadvantage, cause I get ZERO done when there are kids around! I don't even want to try, but prefer to dedicate my time 100% to her and get some intensive work done during the night. I bet I am not alone on this one, right? 'No sleep til Brooklyn' seems to be on repeat on my mind... Anyways, surfing around the web I noticed that the organic children's label  Little Cocoa Bean has just released new fabulous stuff in their online shop . I have written about them on an earlier occasion  and they never seem to disappoint! Super cool,  monochrome mini collection with funky dashes of red, olé!  Check it out:   I love, love, love those hat pants  and those amazing blankets of recycled organic cotton are too cozy!!!  Check out the Little Cocoa Bean website for purchases and you c

Gardner and the Gang Spring-Summer 2015

Image
I absolutely love Gardner and the Gang ! I love their hilarious, quirky and very original illustrations with those rather psychedelic characters. They are launching their new collection the 28th of January and I can't wait! For this spring 2015 the Singapore based Swedish graphic designer,  Kristin Nyström , is delivering the enchanted world of magic and rock and roll. Here you will find the magician Zebra Patsy who put a spell on their famous figure Helmut the Flamingo and turned him into a Kiss loving dachshund called Geen - wonderful stuff! For their lookbook Kristin has gathered a simply brilliant team: The styling is done by Renata Ferko ( Curated By ) and photography by Maya Vidulich ( Miss Maya ). Check it out:     Fantastic, right?! On top of that Gardner and the Gang makes their cool kids clothes of organic goodness, which makes me completely sold.  But as I mentioned, you will have to have patience and wait a week more before the launch where it will be available in thes

Maiko Mini - New Australian kidswear brand

Image
I love how so many new and really brilliant kidswear brands from the land of Oz are popping up all of the time - I have got to go there soon... Ok, what I wanted to say, is that Maiko Mini  is one of them. I discovered them through Instagram  and immediately fell in love with those super cool tees . Maiko Mini collaborates with the experienced UK based artist Sonia Hensler  for their amazing hand drawn prints, featuring among others some incredible tigers, origami bunnies, funky chameleons, pink flamingos and my favorite monochrome pandas! Photos by Concrete and Honey photography and Sharon Petito Photography Do pass by the Maiko Mini   webshop for purchases and enjoy their awesome tees and sweatshirts! It is also a  good idea to  follow them on Instagram  or Facebook ,  cause with that style they are definitely going somewhere ;) Don't forget to join the KID family for more  cool kids fashion and style inspiration  ;)

Bobo Choses spring-summer 2015 sneak peek!

Image
Hey everybody! Hope you all had some lovely holidays and a smashing new years eve. I definitely did and I am back with lots of positive energy, new inspiration, exciting collaborations and lots and lots of killer kids fashion. I received the following collection in my inbox a week ago and I am sure it has already been all over the social media, but it is just to good not to publish! The awesome new Bobo Choses SS15 collection " Guess who's coming for breakfast ' is full of optimistic and fun colors, quirky monster prints, staring eyes and juicy watermelons, which all makes the icicles under my ears and nose melt and my five layered wool covered body scream for summer! I am really loving those quilted vests, the monster feet print and the watermelon bathing suit (great color combo!). But summer also invites for simplicity and I really have my eye on that red monster sleeveless dress for O., it looks like one of those she will live in all through summer!  This brilliant coll

7 cool kidswear brands that rocked 2014!

Hey everybody! It is almost Christmas, which means this is going to be my last post this year, cause I'm going on holiday, YAY! December has definitely been a bit of a poor month on the blog I admit, but I have been needing to disconnect a bit, relax that workaholic gene, apart from running the store of course, and to concentrate on my family in my spare time, being more present during these days, spoiling my daughter and digging that true Christmas spirit! Now January means action with a bunch of new and exciting collaborations that I can't wait to tell you all about, but for now it's all just peace and love :) And so I thought, what better way to end the year than to focus on the brands I have loved the most this year; la créme de la créme of cool and quirky kids fashion, kidswear brands that really have stood out from the crowd and have rocked 2014! Here is my bid (in random order!) 1. Bandit Kids: Lets start of with the Australian skater/indie/lounge kids clothing brand

Duchess and Lion - Cool kidswear made in the USA

Image
I love jumpsuits, it should be a mandatory item in every closet; babies, kids, adults... Well it certainly is in mine ;) It is such an easy and comfortable garment, perfect for wild play and at the same time adds a special coziness when chilling out at home. The new children's clothing label  Duchess and Lion makes some of the coolest jumpsuits for kids I have seen in a long time! Duchess and Lion is a family run business from San Francisco featuring vintage inspired designs with a modern twist. Everything is ethically made from scratch in the USA to ensure fair trade conditions for all the workers involved. They have a sense for picking out and combining exquisite fabrics, and I love the cool detail of actually using real, vintage war patches on some garments making them 100% unique.  Awesome, right? I have been crushing on this brand since I first discovered them in the lovely blog  Petit & Small  not so long ago. As you can see in the photos, they obviously make other garm
