Kira Kids Autum-Winter 2014/15 - Quirky kids clothes made in USA

Image
Kira Kids is another kidswear brand I have completely fallen head over heals for! I love their quirky, unisex style with fun illustrations and their new autumn collection 2014 is a blast. I have a thing for weird foods on kids clothes, so when I saw those pretzels and specially that hot dog with mustache and top hat, I just had to share it with you ;) Their AW14 'Big City' collection is inspired by the buzzing life in New York City, the typical street food munchies and the stories and adventures every street corner hides. Their super cool look book has a funky retro air and is shot by the ever brilliant Flannery O'Kafka and styled by Ashley Gibson . Nice, right?! On top of it, all of their garments are made in the USA and they use non-toxic water based ink for their prints. Swing by the Kira Kids website for more info or find your nearest stockist here . Don't forget to join the KID family for more  cool kids fashion and style inspiration!

Milk & Biscuits Autumn-Winter 2014/15 kids fashion collection

I love the new Milk & Biscuits collection! It's a limited, but very well made collection with a cool mix of casual styles combined with more traditional cuts and always maintaining that special, quirky British flair. The Anglo-Chinese kids clothing brand was founded in 2013 by the experienced art director Kate Smith who fell in love with a Shangheinese man on one of her travels in Asia. Many years later and with a couple of kids in the middle, they came up with the lovely Milk & Biscuits. This season's look book is shot by the brilliant photographer Michelle Marshall . The scene is an old school 70's photo booth reviving those fun and crazy "retro selfie" moments. It is such a cool idea and completely sets the mood of the collection, it sure does leave most of us with a smirky smile on our face thinking back on those times, right?!  My two favorites from the Milk & Biscuits AW14 collection  are the cool  Herring bone denim sweatshirt  and that fab swe

Waddler Autumn-Winter 2014/15 kids fashion collection

For this autumn/winter 2014/15 the lovely  Waddler family has moved on from their last Brazilian beach adventure  to the wilds of the Uruguayan pampas. Their quirky and oh so wonderful, new, vintage style collection is called ' The Outstanding Journey of the Waddler Caravan ' and is inspired by the old fashioned circuses that once traveled around those lands.  As always, their collection is made of luxurious baby alpaca yarn and soft organic cotton, but adding some new funky and very appropriate prints, if I might say, like the English bowler hat and the South American lama.     I love (=must have and need for little O.!) those cozy knit pants! And the fluffy Pierrot collars on the bigger boys are so much fun and really ad something special to that quirky, vintage style. Right now Waddler  is having an AMAZING  photo competition  where you can win nothing less than  1000£  for all of your favorite Waddler styles +  1000£ for an adventure in South America , oh là là!!!!!  That

Tale of Boy - Cool and edgy kids style from the UK

Image
Today I am loving the British kids fashion label Tale of Boy . It's a small scale brand making unique, handmade children's clothes designed and produced in London. They draw inspiration from the wonderful multitude of subcultures in their surroundings and the general buzzing life in the city, creating their  own particular edgy and raw style that I am completely crazy about!  Awesome prints, playful textures and funky cuts, oh yeah! I have had the pleasure of receiving these super cool kids fashion shots by the lovely photographer Alexandra Cooper , which I have mixed with some of my favorite styles currently available in their webshop . Leah Rose , the designer behind Tale of Boy , produces very limited collections monthly or bimonthly to ensure the uniqueness of every product, and from there on never looks back. So if you have fallen for one (or ten..) of their styles do not hesitate to go for it right away, cause tomorrow there are big chances of them being gone! The Tale of

Kids on the Moon AW14 - 'Space Time' kids fashion collection

Image
Hey everybody,  it's Monday morning; I need something extra clean, simple and fresh to clear out my mind and get this week started nicely. Know the feeling? Well, that and a steamy cup of black coffee!  The new  Kids on the Moon  collection has been waiting all jippery in my inbox for a perfect occasion. This is it! This season the Polish kids fashion brand takes us on a journey in space and time. Nothing is as it seems, illusions play with our senses. No gravity clothing in 4 dimensions - 3D is represented in the geometrical shapes of autumn ponchos and vests, sculptured skirts and soft structures of padded quilts. The 4th dimension is reflected as time warps where unicorns and ruffles reappear... Crispy clean lines, simplicity and minimalist style. I love the light weight color palette dominated by grey tones, grey melange, blues and honey, so easy and natural and perfect for mixing and matching. I have also especially fallen for their quilted fabrics (the ponchos are so good!) a
